After an incredible 25-year journey Thomas Vanderham’s chapter with Rocky Mountain is coming to a close. His legacy, however, will forever be woven into the fabric of our brand. With pride- and a touch of sadness- we wish the best to a teammate, consummate professional, and MTB legend as he embarks on a new challenge and direction in his career.


The opportunity to start my mountain bike career with Rocky Mountain was a young freerider’s dream come true. I couldn’t have imagined the places that opportunity would take me and the people I would meet along the way. I’m proud of everything we accomplished together and I’m taking nothing but positive memories with me into my next adventure. Thank you to all of the incredible people who have supported me and been a part of my journey over the years- it’s been a privilege to work and ride with you.—Thomas Vanderham


Thomas has been an integral part of Rocky Mountain’s history, shaping the sport with his style, skill, and dedication. His contribution to freeride mountain biking is undeniable, and his impact will continue to inspire riders for years to come.


I watched this kid rise up through the North Shore MTB scene to become one of the world's most talented, and respected riders. He would never tell you that though, Thomas is the kind of humble that would say sorry to you as he's pulling your jersey over your head and feeding you body shots, pure Canada style. If you were ever lucky enough to follow him riding a bike, you would instantly be a Vanderham fan. So buddy, thank you for all the great times that we've had on the bike, and remember, just like that old Element video in 2012: "gotta save something for the next ridel—Wade Simmons


Our worlds have crossed paths in so many ways over so many years, and always a great connection to a real human being. So humble with goobs of talent, and so laid back, he epitomizes professionalism both in and off the bike. Best of luck with your next endeavour.—Andreas Hesler

Ist auch eine sehr coole Marke. Ich hatte mal ein 27,5 Patrol. Das mit dem Hängebauch. War ein Alu. Sauschwer, der Rahmen knapp 4 kg in L. Fuhr aber sehr cool. Leider absolutes Hochpreissegment, sonst hätte ich wohl ein Carbon Patrol zu Hause. Das neue Sentinel soll auch gut sein. Ein Bekannter hat das Spur seit Jahren und ist sehr glücklich damit.

Ich finde die Rahmen auch echt cool, aber wenn man sich anschaut welche Ausstattung die zu welchen Preisen anbieten... nöööö, dagegen sind Rocky ja Weisenkinder

Ich hab auch offen gesagt nicht mehr so das Beste Gefühl. Es sind kaum noch Ersatzteile verfügbar usw. Emma bekommt jetzt auch ein Knolly statt das Altitute
